It’s almost here. February in Barcelona means Mobile World Congress, and AIRK Drones will be again, for the third year in a row, in the most important technological event in the world. MWC, the new and simplified name of the congress, will take place February 25-28.
If you walk through the Gran Via Fira de Barcelona venue, you will find AIRK in the stand Catalonia Drones, the cluster of the drone industry which includes the leading companies and institutions boosting the drone sector, at Hall 8.0 Stand 8.0 G1. There, besides multicopters of the AIRK FireClouds family (Quadcopter FC4, Hexacopter FC6, Octocopter FC8and Coaxial Quadcopter FC4r), customized drones and infrastructures for drones race circuits, all manufactured by AIRK, the latest and most important innovations of this fast-growing company will be presented.
Some of these developments will be AIRK Roak, a terrestrial drone designed to assist in security and surveillance tasks, and AIRK School, a set of products, and solutions to bring drone technology to education, whether primary schools, institutes and universities. The new AIRK website will also be launched.
As a warm up, the week before the congress will host three talks as part of the Mobile Week, under the theme “Drones. How do they impact on the citizens?”: February 18 in Manresa, February 20 in Vic, and February 21 in Mataró. The CEO of AIRK, David Matanzas, will be a speaker in all three events, which will also involve Blanca Farré and Natxo Varona, from Educaires.
The tagline of MWC 2019 is intelligent connectivity, and more than 2.400 companies are expected to attend throughout the week. It is also expected to surpass the 107.000 visitors that attended this world class event in 2018.
